Sensors and Sensor Systems

Working Party (with fms)

The Working Party receives significant support from fms - Forschungsgesellschaft für Messtechnik, Sensorik und Medizintechnik e.V. Dresden. It is engaged in the fundamentals of chemical, biological and physical sensors and their applications in the process industry and views its role as that of a specialist forum for the discussion of R&D results, the exchange of experience, further education and also for the professional development of young scientists.
The Working Party interfaces with the Working Parties 'Plant Safety by Process Control Systems' (Safety Engineering Section) and with 'Measurement and Control in Biotechnology' (DECHEMA Biotechnology Section). Furthermore there is overlap with AMA Fachverband für Sensorik e.V.
