Plant and Process Safety

Section

In conjunction with the Plant and Process Safety Subject Division and the related Working Parties and Working Groups, the Section aims to extend and promulgate knowledge of safety engineering and devotes itself to the following key areas:

  • Promotion of the scientific and technical exchange of ideas and experience on methods, exemplary solutions and incidents
  • Initiation and coordination of research projects
  • Training and continuing education measures, organization of scientific conferences
  • Regulatory processes: information, influence, participation
  • Drafting of scientific and technical statements, implementation of projects
  • Political research initiatives, compilation of position papers on cutting-edge safety themes

The following provides profiles of the Subject Division, the various Working Parties and Working Groups incorporated in the ProcessNet Plant and Process Safety Section. The Section's Steering Committee, composed of the Chairs of the participating bodies and the Section's Executive Board, coordinates topics and activities.
