Working Party
Technical Reactions

One of the major activities of the Working Party is to forge a link between basic research and industrial utilization for the whole spectrum of technically relevant reactions.
Special attention is paid to the topics: process optimization taking into account matter, energy and environmental boundary conditions, the development of methods for scale-up and scale-down of chemical reactors and also the dynamic behaviour of reactors, including (thermal) safety and process intensification.
The Working Party works closely with the Reaction Engineering Division in fostering international relations and organizing conferences, in research policy initiatives and the professional development of young scientists.
