Membrane Technology

Subject Division

Subject Division
Membrane Technology

The objective of the Membrane Technology Subject Division is to inform the specialist community about the latest R&D results and applications by holding events, to support young scientists, and to favourably influence the basic conditions for membrane technology. Today membrane processes are increasingly used in diverse areas of industrial production and the interfaces with other fields, such as chemical reaction engineering, biotechnology and process intensification, are correspondingly varied. Focal topics include the processing of renewable, synthetic and fossil energy sources, production-integrated water and waste water technology with the closing of process cycles and the separation of residual materials and resources.
