The Working Party deals with the technical application of enamelling, particularly in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

It regards its role as a platform for discussion and debate between manufacturers and users on issues of industrial safety, standardization, environmental protection, etc. Reports are compiled not only on further development of the material technical enamel, but also on competitive materials, the approach being interdisciplinary.
