Education Working Party Technical Chemistry at Universities

The Education Working Party deals with the course content of technical chemistry for chemists and process engineers at universities in Germany; various activities contribute towards the professional development of young scientists and engineers.

  • DECHEMA student prizes: two student prizes are awarded annually in each of the disciplines of technical chemistry, process engineering and biotechnology
  • Meeting and prize for young university teachers: platform for young academics to demonstrate their eligibility for a professorship
