Subject Division
The Subject Division's work revolves around plant engineering and plant life cycle management. The focus is on the whole process and the interaction of a plant's various parts. The specific tasks and systems engineering methods for process development and optimization, plant design and construction, operation, control and maintenance of plants are all important factors.
The topics cover process synthesis, process and logistics simulation, and process design. Furthermore, they include the plant-specific implementation of a process developed on both a laboratory and technical scale using state-of-the-art methods and tools, and also operation optimization and the work flows of a production engineer.
