Working Party

The Working Party sees its role as an interdisciplinary expert group for chemical and chemico-technical aspects focusing on

the behaviour of semi-volatile and persistent organic compounds in the atmosphere
atmospheric chemistry and climate
urban air quality

The Working Party pursues the following principal targets in the context of scientific issues and regulatory measures:

Discussion and assessment of the state-of-the-art of R&D
Identification of knowledge deficits and need for action
R&D initiatives to remedy the deficits
Scientific supervision and drafting of statements on regulations
