Gas Cleaning

Subject Division

The Subject Division's field of activity are the fundamentals of gas cleaning and their industrial application. The range of topics comprises treatment of intake air and process gas streams and also of exhaust air and exhaust gas flows. Here, on the one hand solid, liquid or gaseous products or valuable products can be recaptured from gas flows, on the other hand, in order to comply with predetermined limit values, undesirable components are reduced. The Subject Division sees its role as an expert forum for discussing R&D results, exchanging ideas and experience, and for supporting and providing further training for young scientists. Topics range from stationary and non-stationary processes, to physico-chemical impacts on the efficiency of technical gas cleaning operations, to modeling and simulation, through to novel process techniques.
