de: Risiko Analyse
Risk Analysis is the systematic analysis of the various components of an estimate which will most likely significantly affect the final outcome of the project.
Most risk analyses are done using computerized statistical programs. The ranges, both upper and lower limits, around the target values of selected components of the estimate and the probability of the final value falling between the lower range and the target value of the various components are determined.
The ranges and the probability values are then input to the computer program where a statistical analysis is performed. The output from the analysis gives the lowest value for the estimate, the highest value for the estimate, and a contingency profile indicating the amount of money to be added to the target value of the estimate.
